AB On The Road Again!

Updated: Apr 3, 2023

If you follow the world of astrology, you may be aware that we just went through a big change in the planets. Saturn moved from Aquarius into Pisces, and with that movement ended a 3-year cycle and began a new 3-year cycle of growth. It’s poignant to me because this shift occurred, literally on the same day, as we at Animal Balance worked to finalize our entire calendar for 2023, planning nearly one year out in advance. This is a goal that we have been working to achieve for nearly three years! Saturn is the planet of manifestation and goals, coincidentally, and represents characteristics like perseverance and tenacity. Over the last three years, our team, alongside our partner organizations, have demonstrated more than just tenacity to help us reach our goal, they have put literal blood, sweat and tears into helping us establish consistent and sustainable MASH-style veterinary care in communities across the south and southwestern United States. What we have in store for the remainder of 2023, and into 2024 is mind blowing to me when I think of where we were just three years ago, as we had just begun holding clinics in the continental United States. We are excited to announce new partners and share dates through the end of the year for our dedicated volunteers who want to be able to plan their AB trips farther out in advance. Beginning this spring, we will be launching projects in two new regions...Fresno, CA and Mt. Juliet, TN. These locations are being added to our already established rotation that includes several cities and towns in far west and central Texas; Laredo, TX; Las Vegas, NM; and the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Whiteriver, AZ. Wow, it’s wild to even put that list on paper. Our AB USA VetAid program has grown so much in the last three years, and we are poised to keep growing into 2024. If you’ve EVER wanted to get involved in any of our clinics, there is no better time than now. We are looking for high volume spay neuter surgeons licensed in California, and licensed or willing to get licensed (via reciprocity) in Tennessee. We are also looking for technicians with high volume experience for prep, surgery and recovery, and non- medical volunteers to help in recovery, washing instruments, and other clinic duties. If you love to travel to new places, meet amazing people, explore a roadside attraction or two, Animal Balance VetAid clinics might be your vibe. Be part of an 8-10 person team that deploys to one of these locations to IGNITE SOCIAL CHANGE by training and empowering a local community to move the needle for animals in their towns. That’s right, have fun AND change the world. Visit our website for a complete list of dates and locations. If you see something that you want to join, give us a shout! We want to see all of your faces out on the road this year! Buckle up because it’s bound to be a wild ride as it seems the stars are aligning and we are ready to blast off!
