While anxious families and their pets patiently waited to be checked in to the latest Fresno clinic, the quiet morning was disrupted not by jets from the nearby military base, or ambulance traffic from the hospital, but from a big truck parked near the registration line! First the emergency blinkers went on, then the horn began to honk intermittently, and the long line of clients all turned to see what was happening at the same time… Low and behold, two large wet noses were trying to squirm out of the cracked open driver’s window!!!
It seems that the two large German Shepherds in the front seat felt they were missing out on all the fun and wanted to join in. While the owner nervously tried to complete paperwork in order to quiet the unruly scamps, they interpreted the attention from other clients and patients waiting in line as encouragement… The two began a loud bark-fest and dogs who were waiting in line eagerly joined in! The cats however, were significantly less interested in participating…
The owner soon sheepishly emerged from registration and got the fun-loving, but unruly pair in for their exams and surgery.
