Arleen Rosa, Assistant Clinic Coordinator
Arleen has long held a deep commitment to animal welfare, particularly focused on addressing the needs of neglected dogs and cats within her community. While her passion for animals has been longstanding, her career path in veterinary care became clear during high school. Through veterinary assistant classes, Arleen began volunteering at a local animal shelter, where she was introduced to Animal Balance.

Inspired by their mission, Arleen dedicated over a year to volunteering with Animal Balance before pursuing a degree in Science at college. Her academic foundation, combined with her hands-on experience, prepared her to officially join the organization, where she has now been working for nearly five years as a Vet assistant. During this time, she's received extensive training, enhancing her expertise in high-volume, high-quality veterinary care.
Arleen is training to become a Clinic Coordinator Assistant, a role that will allow her to take on greater responsibilities within the organization and contribute more directly to its mission of creating long-term change in animal welfare. When not traveling with Animal Balance, Arleen works at an all-practice veterinary clinic in the Rio Grande Valley, where she provides essential care to dogs and cats. Outside of her professional life, Arleen enjoys cycling, exploring new places with her loved ones, and spending quiet moments at home with her four cherished cats—Pepper, Ash, Shadow, and Milk.
